State-run National Transmission Corp. is seeking approval from the Energy Regulatory Commission for a feed-in tariff allowance rate of P0.3320 per kilowatt-hour for 2022.

TransCo filed the application in its capacity as the FIT-All fund administrator tasked with the disbursement of the fund.

The FIT-All is a uniform charge in peso per kWh billed to all electricity customers who are supplied with electricity through the distribution network.

The current FIT-All allowance as posted in the customer’s monthly bill is at P0.0983 per kWh, which was approved in 2020.

TransCo applied for a FIT All rate of P0.1881 per kWh or P0.2008 per kWh for 2021, which remains pending with the ERC.

“Our application assumes there is no new approval until the end of the year,” Dina Dizon, head of TransCo feed-in tariff team said.
