Widus International Leisure Inc. has taken a significant leap in promoting sustainable tourism after the company teamed up with Aboitiz Power Corp. to supply the Widus Complex at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga with its Cleanergy brand for clean and renewable energy.

WILI owns and operates a premier leisure destination at the Clark Freeport Zone.

The partnership was established in 2018 when WILI made the switch to Cleanergy by signing up with AboitizPower for a 1.5-megawatt energy requirement, which has since increased to 2.5 MW.

“As a thriving metropolis, Clark is teeming with exciting activities and places of interest. Since it opened in 2008, Widus has become a leading destination for its topnotch facilities and world-class entertainment offerings. But apart from being known for our signature warmth and hospitality, we are proud to be a company that values sustainability,” said WILI assistant vice president for corporate planning and compliance Neki A. Liwanag.
