TWO companies are interested to acquire various pieces of property of the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (Psalm), including those in Puerto Azul, according to the state-led corporation on Thursday. FG Bukidnon Power Corp. and Therma Marine Inc. attended Psalm’s pre-bid conference for the sale of its Agusan, Maco, Nasipit and Puerto Azul real estate assets. This conference was an opportunity for prospective bidders to clarify issues and concerns they may have on the terms of the sale. Psalm is holding the bidding for the assets that will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis. An upfront full payment is required. The minimum bid price for the Agusan property, is P23.84 million; the Maco property, P3.21 million; the Nasipit property, P4.41 million; and the two condominium units in the Puerto Azul Complex, namely units B5-B and B5-C, P4.12 million and P3.76 million, respectively.The bid submission deadline for these assets is scheduled on August 6 at 2 p.m. Interested bidders may obtain the bidding package for the assets being auctioned from July 9 until one business day prior to the deadline.
