THE Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) urged interested parties to participate in the pre-negotiation conference for the negotiated sale of the Manila Thermal Power Plant (MTPP) Land.
The state firm said the conference is scheduled at 2 p.m. on January 23, at its office in Quezon City.
The conference aims to clarify issues that interested parties may have on the terms and provisions of the asset for sale.
“PSALM aims to solicit the insights of interested parties to help further refine the negotiation documents and provide proper information to assist them with submitting an offer that complies with the requirements.
Interested parties will also be informed of the responsibilities of the winning party in view of the circumstances underlying the sale of property,” PSALM said.
The expression of interest and Acceptance of the Negotiation Procedures need to be submitted to the PSALM Privatization, Bids and Awards Committee before an interested party is considered eligible and allowed further participation in the negotiation process.
Interested parties may conduct their due diligence until January 29. The deadline for the submission of offers is at noon on January 31, at the PSALM Office, 24th Floor Vertis North Corporate Center 1, North Avenue, Quezon City.
