PAVI Green energizes Villar Groups retail stores
PAVI Green has initiated the deployment of its solar-powered malls project across multiple Vista Malls and AllHome branches in Luzon.

MANILA, Philippines — Villar-owned PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc. is bringing sustainable energy to the group’s shopping mall and home improvement chain in Luzon.

PAVI Green has initiated the deployment of its solar-powered malls project across multiple Vista Malls and AllHome branches in Luzon.

The company said approximately 11,315 solar panels were installed in 14 stores in Luzon with an average capacity of 432-kilowatt peak of total power from the solar panels.

This will result in average savings of 10 to 15 percent in the electricity costs in each branch, according to PAVI Green.

Solar panels are currently energizing Vista Mall branches in Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Tanza and Dasmarinas, Cavite; Bataan and Pampanga; as well as Starmall San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

AllHome branches energized by solar power, meanwhile, are in Imus and Kawit, Cavite; Antipolo, Rizal; as well as San Ildefonso, Bulacan; Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija, and  Santiago and Cauayan in the province of Isabela.

On top of electricity savings, the initiative is likewise expected to reduce carbon emissions equivalent to 3.75 million kilograms per year or equivalent to 22,526 planted trees.

“Sustainable energy is the future, and we hope to significantly contribute to the renewable energy targets in the country through these kinds of commercial partnerships,” Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc. president and CEO Paolo Villar said.

“This milestone marks a significant step in our efforts to save the environment and enables us to become cost-efficient in terms of our electricity costs. We are also glad to give our customers the opportunity to contribute to saving the planet while enjoying their retail experience,” he said.

PAVI Green is also gearing up for large-scale power plant projects in Orion, Bataan; San Vicente, Camarines Norte; and Naga, Camarines Sur.

It is a rapidly emerging player in the country’s renewable energy sector and serves as the green arm of Prime Asset Ventures Inc., founded by Villar.”
