CREC inaugurates central warehouse

Renewable energy player Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. said it inaugurated its central warehouse in Dasmarinas, Cavite on June 9, 2023.

The 13,000-square-meter facility is strategically located at the First Cavite Industrial Estate and will optimize the supply chain for CREC’s aggressive roll-out of 1,000 megawatts of capacity per annum.

“This facility will serve as the backbone of our operations, enabling us to efficiently manage and distribute resources to our solar plant facilities across Luzon,” CREC executive vice president Manolo Candelaria said during the inauguration.

He said the warehouse is a symbol of CREC’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions. It encompasses efficiencies to ensure the seamless coordination and supply of materials, equipment, and resources required for the operation and maintenance of CREC solar plants.

CREC said the centralized approach would enhance efficiency, allowing for streamlined logistics and faster project completion period to ensure optimal generation and timely delivery of clean energy.
