AC Energy Inc., the development arm of the Ayala group in the energy sector, will supply Plastmann Industrial Corp. 1.7 megawatts (MW) of electricity.
Plastmann is located in Mandaluyong City.
Both signed on October 10 a retail power supply agreement (PSA), the power firm said on Wednesday.
The PSA is meant to provide energy savings solutions and dependable power to Plastmann Industrial and its customers.
Plastmann is a Philippine-based manufacturer of a wide range of rigid plastic products catering to both domestic and multinational customers.
The power that will be supplied to Plastmann will partly be sourced from renewable energy.
AC Energy is one of the fastest-growing energy companies with over $1 billion of invested and committed equity in renewable and thermal energy in the Philippines and around the region.
The company aspires to develop 5 gigawatt of attributable capacity and generate at least 50 percent of energy from renewables by 2025.
